Basic SupportThe foundation

Full day rates starting at $450 · Estimate

Basic support labor covers the physical work that keeps an Arizona event moving: loading and unloading trucks, moving cases, building and striking scenic and staging elements, assisting rigging teams and supporting room turns. ACAV can crew stagehands, loaders, staging grips, utility technicians, floats and set or strike calls as individual roles or as the foundation beneath a larger technical team. The production determines the call size, schedule and skill mix; ACAV matches people to the work rather than treating every labor request as the same assignment.

Skilled TechniciansThe system specialists

Full day rates starting at $650 · Estimate

Skilled technicians handle the systems behind the finished show. Audio, video and lighting technicians support setup, signal flow, testing, operation and strike; LED programmers and video engineers manage display and processing needs; GFX, show-control and camera operators cover content and cue execution; breakout technicians keep meeting rooms presentation-ready. These roles can reinforce a producer’s existing department heads or form the technical core of a crew. For multi-room corporate events and conventions, ACAV can combine dedicated room technicians with roving utility support so the staffing plan follows the actual program.

Lead OperatorsThe show leaders

Full day rates starting at $1000 · Estimate

Lead operators take responsibility for departments, cues and communication. ACAV staffs audio, video and lighting operators, front-of-house engineers, technical directors, stage managers, production assistants and design support for productions that need experienced oversight. A lead can direct an ACAV crew, integrate with a touring team or work inside a client’s existing production structure. The right leadership plan depends on show complexity, rehearsal needs, venue rules, program changes and the number of rooms or stages; those details shape the recommended mix of department leads and supporting technicians.

About ACAV

A labor partner built around live production.

ACAV LLC provides professional AV labor, event staffing, stagehands and audio, video and lighting production crews throughout Arizona. The company is based in Phoenix and serves the full state, including the Valley, Tucson, northern Arizona, western Arizona and communities across all 15 counties. Clients can request one role, a department or a layered crew that combines basic support, skilled technicians and lead operators for load-in, rehearsal, show and strike.

Each trade show, corporate meeting, marketing tour, exhibit, concert, festival or convention call is matched to the work actually required. That can mean loaders and stagehands for a focused set or strike, breakout technicians and camera operators across multiple rooms, LED and video specialists for a display-heavy program, or FOH engineers, technical directors and stage managers for show leadership. ACAV’s role is labor and crewing: the production scope, venue, schedule and equipment plan guide the staffing recommendation.

How we scope

Knowns in.
Unknowns out.

What we ask for

Start with the event type, dates, venue and schedule. Those knowns establish the shape of the call and give ACAV a clear place to begin.

What we resolve

The quote works through load-in and load-out windows, venue access and dock constraints, power and rigging points, the gear and equipment plan, crew call times and phases, department mix and headcounts, rehearsals, show schedule and the strike plan.

What gets locked

The result is a tier-matched crew recommendation, documented in a written work order with confirmed rates before show day.
